One of the things supporters of President Obama love most about him is his ability to be genuine. He is by far the most relatable president ever to sit in the Oval Office. He laughs with us; he cries with us. He’s a great role model as a parent and he genuinely cares about America — and people in general.
His best moments are when he does something that comes very naturally to him: when he makes us laugh. His speeches at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner are the best in history. His talk show appearances flow like no other politician. Even his State of the Union Addresses make us chuckle, especially when he digs into the GOP with that passive aggression we’ve come to know and love.
It was a pleasure to see President Obama after the Super Bowl on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He and his wife did a fantastic job of once again reminding us why the Obama administration will be remembered as one of the greatest in history.
