Would you get dating assistance from Family Guy’s Quagmire? Well, then you probably wouldn’t want advice from an epic toolbox running a rapeshack under the guise of a “dating service.” Julian Blanc, “dating coach” and founder of dating service Real Social Dynamics, is under fire after critics discovered that his service actually instructs sexual assault and rape over real comance.
For example, this modern-day Lothario instructs men to grab women by the neck in what he dubs the “choke opener,” as well as approaching women in foreign countries and pushing their faces into their crotches. Perhaps Blanc gets his tips from Ray Rice? Thankfully, Blanc was kicked out of Australia and his work visa was revoked last week in the wake of a huge social media campaign that exposed his methods. Just in case we’re confused on the meaning of misogyny in the wake of so much manufactured outrage these days, the methods of Blanc would be it. Hell, even Fox News is reporting on it so you know is must be serious.
“It’s unspeakable,” said Mike Burke, a British teacher and researcher based in Tokyo who is a leading force in the “Take Down Julien Blanc” Facebook campaign. “He’s inspiring people to commit an act that is criminal,” Burke, 32, told FoxNews.com Wednesday. “And the misogyny is shocking.” (Fox News)
Burke supports free speech, but feels that Mr. douchebag dateline is encouraging members to commit sexual assault.
Oddly, Blanc acknowledges that this crap is utterly offensive but stands by its effectiveness.
“It’s Offensive, It’s Inappropriate, It’s Emotionally Scarring, BUT IT’S DAMN EFFECTIVE,” Blanc boasts. “At least in Tokyo, if you’re a white male, you can do what you want,” Blanc says on one video as a group of men listen intently and take notes. “Just grab her … [I’m] romping through the streets just grabbing girls’ heads, just like, head on d–k…head on d–k.”” (Fox News)
Blanc is being accused of encouraging rape and, in fact, his even douchier co-founder described the unconfirmed rape of a Thai woman in a video during one seminar.
“I think she didn’t wanna have sex again,” Cook tells a group of men. “But I just like f–king threw her on the bed…and I’m all like, make it quick [because] she doesn’t even want it.” (Fox News)
And then there’s this lovely gem via a now canceled Twitter account (duh):
EventBrite, a ticketing service, has immediately cut ties with Blanc’s service. Also, U.S. law enforcement sources are considering it a federal matter since it involves information over the web and foreign countries. Catcalling, while pretty lame and the most primitive form of soliciting females, is by no means in the same galaxy of wrong as what Blanc is doing.
