It is seriously at the point where no matter what your problem is, your risk of dying because of it goes up exponentially if you call the police for help.
A mother in Columbus Ohio, Andrea Ellis, needed medical help for a cut on her arm from broken glass. Andrea’s sister dialed 911 to try to get help but in the meantime she spotted a police officer on routine patrol and flagged him down to get help.
Sounds fine so far right? That didn’t last long according to Inside Edition:
But as the cop approached the house, events took a horrific turn. Cops said the family pet – a boxer-terrier mix named Patches, charged at the officer.
The cop fired his gun, and the bullet hit Andrea’s four-year-old daughter, Ava, in the leg, shattering the bone.
“She asked me several times, ‘Mommy, am I gonna die?
A police officer is not supposed to be a risk to public health and safety, but they have become modern day “Raging Rambos” just aching for a reason to shoot wildly at REAL threats like your family’s dog.
Seriously, what the hell is going on? A family pet growls at the cop, so instead of backing up he goes to murder the dog but shoots so wildly he hits and shatters a 4-year-olds leg. WHY would you point a gun in the direction of a 4-year-old girl ever? Only in America.
After this there was another 911 call from a neighbor reporting that the cop shot a child. Ava, the child, was thankfully only hit in the leg and not a couple inches higher where it could have proven fatal. The officer has not been disciplined in any way as of yet, but the Columbus PD “assures the public they will investigate”. Sounds like he will get a 2 week paid vacation to me.
