Yesterday, former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords went to Capitol Hill to speak at a news conference to announce the reintroduction of gun legislation. This apparently angered the totally non-violent NRA crowd so much that they took their anger to the National Rifle Association’s Facebook page and called for Gabby to be shot (again) and killed.
I can’t imagine why the left thinks ammosexuals are violent?! These folks seem perfectly nice to me!
Seriously though, these fools are angry that she was standing by Rep. Mike Thompson (D) as he announced that he was reintroducing a bipartisan background check bill. That’s right, it’s bipartisan. Republican Peter King of New York is the co-author and three other Republicans have joined him in his support of the bill.
The bill would require background checks of private sales over the internet, at gun shows, and through classified ads. It would also give state’s incentives to report people who are mentally ill to be added to the National Instant Background Check System.
Ammosexuals often scream that they don’t support background checks because it would open the door for the federal government to create a national database, the first step to confiscating their guns. The bill specifically prevents such a tin foil hat fantasy database from happening.
It’s so ironic that these people shout from the rooftops that they are “good guys” with guns who will eventually save the day. Yet, here they are spewing vile death wishes because a woman who was shot in the head and survived is advocating for the six people who were murdered during the mass shooting that ended her career. She should die because of this?
I wish we would create a national gun stealing database because I would gladly report these psychopaths. Do you believe people like this should own firearms? I sure as hell don’t.
